Exposed wooden beams, shiplap walls and wide-plank flooring add rustic touches, while the modern amenities and sleek finishes provide a contemporary feel.

MATERIALS

Its natural, earthy tones complement the rustic yet refined aesthetic typical of farmhouse styles. Demit facade materials are used to create a sleek, contemporary exterior with incorporated traditional architectural elements. The facade is paired with large windows, clean lines and other modern features, resulting in a balanced design that feels both current and rooted in the past.

LAYOUT

This modern farmhouse villa is carefully designed for a family of four – a married couple and two kids. It features an open layout living room, dining room and kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, 1 walking closet, laundry room and multi-purpose space. The living room is a two-story space, creating a sense of openness and airiness. The room’s height and openness create an ambiance of luxury and relaxation, making it an ideal place for both entertaining and everyday living. The rooms are comfortably designed for the family and incoming guests.

When choosing flooring, wide-plank flooring adds warmth and character, anchoring the space with a rustic foundation. The centerpiece of the room is the big twin bed – client’s request. This allows the child to use the room longer as he grows.
